Trees and Grass Project
The aim of this project is to provide trees and grass for the playgrounds of the schools in Soweto. Mr David Boddy, the initiator of the Trees and Grass project (‘TAG’) and senior member of one of the ‘SPP’s associated schools in London undertook to support the teachers in their endeavours. His inspiration has provided the motivational drive that help the teachers grow in confidence, furthermore, through his efforts, money was raised for the building of a netball court in Soweto. Already five schools have benefited from this initiative, including local communities that are involved in the planting and maintenance. To take the project forward additional funding is required.
