Bliss is nourished by refined and pure sounds. Philosophers of all traditions advocate exposure to the finest, most harmonious music. Pure sounds have the potential to transform and uplift the human spirit and thus transform society; hence the School actively encourages the study and performance of great music.

"music has the power to give bliss
because the vibrations emanating from
rightly composed notes form certain
patterns of particles which
create bliss."

Regular concerts are given by students of the School, playing a variety of Western and Eastern instruments. The School also acts as a platform for professional musicians, presenting concerts regularly at its various branches throughout Gauteng. A Music Group meets on alternate Saturdays to explore the subtle aspects of musical sound as well as developing individual musical skills.

The School also has a choir, which specialises in choral music from the late Renaissance through to the Classical period. It also performs music composed by members of the School. Most of the members of the Choir are not trained musicians and learn music by ear. The only requirement is that they love to sing. In addition, singing is offered to the general student body on a regular basis. The principle that is applied is that the attention needs to rest fully on the sound as it emerges and the individual needs to let go of any ideas, judgements or criticisms about the quality of the sound. By putting this simple concept into practice, students more often than not, discover that in fact they CAN sing and are often surprised to discover that they have beautiful singing voices!

The School also actively encourages musical composition, frequently based on texts from the various scriptures, always pursuing the ideal of providing the most harmonious sounds for the upliftment in consciousness of society.
